We are excited to invite volunteers to join us in supporting our scholars. Your participation can make a significant difference in their education and well-being. Whether you can commit to one day or multiple days, we rely on the support of volunteers from all different walks of life, that share a love for our scholars.
Opportunities
In School Tutoring
Come and learn how important learning is at Milwaukee College Prep! Our scholars excel in many academic areas. However, there are scholars who may need specific help in a certain subject area. You will be matched by a teacher with a scholar(s) and given an academic goal where progress can be tracked. You may relax around a good book and enjoy reading time together while checking on the child’s comprehension of the book. School hours 8am-3pm.
After School Tutoring
Consider helping our K-5th grade scholars with their Life’s Work (aka homework). Mondays – Thursday 3:30 -5:00 pm
After School Camp Assistant
Scholars stay after school for extra-curricular activities, i.e. team sports, musical productions, dance, drumming, open gym, etc…Come along and join the fun. Hours 3:30-5:00 pm
One Day Events
Ask about our June carnival, health fair, or create a day of service with your co-workers.
